If you’re reading this, you’re invited to the table

Every marriage needs a table where it can be honest.

You love each other. But somewhere between the kids, the bills, the calendar and the quiet tension nobody names, it is easy to feel like the only couple still figuring it out. You are not.

Family Dinner is a private, invitation-only evening for couples who want more than small talk. Over a three-course dinner, we will laugh, share real stories and open the conversations most couples never get to have out loud, surrounded by couples who truly get it. Everything we share is rooted in timeless biblical principles for marriage, and whatever your background, if this invitation reached you, there is a seat at our table for you.

What you’ll walk away with
Real community
Couples who are fighting for their marriages too, and friendships that last well beyond dessert.
Honest conversation
Biblically grounded discussion guided by Que and Liz. No judgment, no pretending, no perfect couples.
A stronger marriage
Fresh perspective, practical wisdom and the kind of conversation that keeps going on the drive home.
A true date night
A beautiful three-course meal for two and an evening set apart just for the two of you.
The conversation

A safe place for dangerous conversations.

The topics couples whisper about, avoid at church and argue about in the car. We put them on the table with grace, Scripture and a lot of laughter.

  • Money and who really makes the decisions
  • Intimacy and unspoken expectations
  • In-laws, boundaries and leaving to cleave
  • Roles, submission and leadership at home
  • Keeping your marriage first after kids
This evening is for you if

Que & Liz Coples

Married nine years with four beautiful children, our passion is marriage and family God’s way. In 2020, as the world shut down and divorce rates climbed, we got proactive about our own marriage and invited other couples to do the same. What started as a small circle of couples grew into a thriving community, and over time we began counseling marriages and seeing real fruit. In 2023, we launched Couch Conversations with the Coples, a podcast that brings these honest conversations about marriage to couples everywhere.

We believe marriage is one of the most beautiful pictures of the gospel. When a husband and wife love, forgive and choose each other daily, they display Christ’s love for His bride, the Church. A thriving marriage strengthens families and preaches the gospel without saying a word.

That is why we open our table. The world needs to see marriages that work, and no couple should have to build one alone.

Why invitation only

Honest conversation needs a trusted room.

We keep this table small and personal on purpose. Every couple here was invited by someone who knows them, so you can relax, be real and leave the masks at the door.

A curated table
Keeping this evening invitation only allows us to personally vet every couple around the table. You may not know everyone when you arrive, but you can trust the room.
What’s shared, stays
Every guest honors one promise: what is said at the table stays at the table.
Pass it on
Your invitation is yours to share with as many trusted couples as you’d like. Invite couples who need this table.

No. Every invited couple is welcome, whatever their faith background. The evening is built on biblical principles, and that is what we will teach, but you do not need to share our faith to sit at our table. Come curious, come as you are.

Do we have to be having problems to come?

Not at all. Strong marriages stay strong by being sharpened. Come to grow, to be encouraged and to encourage others.
